Before joining Tapia Brothers, Hector oversaw the kitchen operations at Casa Sanchez Restaurant in Long Beach. It was his time working at Casa Sanchez that ultimately led him to Tapia. Hector would deal with the company often as the restaurant was one of their valued customers. He was offered a job by Tapia management and eventually joined the Tapia family in 1996. Hector quickly learned the tricks of the trade at Tapia Brothers. His hard work and dedication earned him key roles in the company’s receiving, purchasing, transportation, and technical departments. He currently holds the positon of IT Manager where he services and troubleshoots all Tapia servers in all four distribution centers. He manages all aspects of the company’s day to day technical functions. His vast technical knowledge and expertise in computer systems continue to be vital to the company’s inventory and general operation systems.
